Bad Axe BBQ started in 1995 as a few guys playing around with turkey deep fryers and a homemade spit. Over the years, we tried various types of smokers and fryers. One day while rolling smoke one of my sons broke an axe handle while splitting some wood for the smoker. He held it up and said “dad I think we got us a bad axe” since that day we called ourselves Bad Axe BBQ.

That was quite a few years ago, today we operate out of 9 smoker units, a mobile kitchen and several large trucks. We pride ourselves on offering not only awesome bbq but traditional menus for all kinds of events. We offer great customer service and go out of our way to make our customers happy.

We do catering events, vending events and competition barbecue. We have been to the world championship of bbq in Memphis 3 times as members of the Too Sauced To Pork BBQ Team.
